• Description: Offers child care services for lower income parents who are seeking training, education, employment and family stability. The center fosters children's early development of self-esteem and social interaction skills while promoting good parenting skills. Mandated program components include mental, physical, and emotional development; health and safety; nutrition; social services; and parent education and involvement. The morning preschool program expands to encompass school-aged children as they are released from class.

• Eligibility: Parents must be working, attending school, in training, referred by a proper agency, incapacitated, homeless, or seeking work. Children must be toilet trained and between ages 3 and 10. Enrollment is based upon criteria and priorities established by the State Department of Education.
